2000 / Bayreuth / Central Bus Terminal

A new central bus terminal in Bayreuth, based upon a predefined transport concept, is designed as a fine silhouette set against the neighbouring historic stone city walls.
In plan, the spoke-wheel-shaped canopy and segmented seating banks allow visual and transverse permeability. For shelter, a translucent membrane stretches across the lightweight steel construction.
