2006 / Community of Mantel / Urban Pilot Survey

Urban analysis in Mantel incorporates a review of existing conditions including the type and scale of uses, infrastructure, traffic and landscaping. Mappings of existing qualities, both spatial and functional, are made to highlight development potential and through community consultation, a catalogue of recommended measures is established.
As points of departure for an urban identity are the steep edges and typological characteristics of the historically significant buildings in the town's centre, a concise spatial sequencing and the tangible proximity to the river Haidenaab, enabling an ambient attractive landscape connection.
