2007 / Uni Regensburg / Lecture at the Children's University

We wander through the history of architecture and take a look at different building materials, tools and fabrication methods for the construction of a house.
We observe how, over the course of time, nature has provided the source and supply of building materials, culminating with ever more industrial fabrication.
We meet research scientists who develop new so-called intelligent materials. We take a peek too at new job types such as the intriging "material scout".

Why do we not live in caves anymore?
