90km long is the "Bavarian Bohemain Friendship Path" as it links Nabburg in OberPflaz with Horsovský Týn in East Bohemia along an original railway track. At Schneeberg, the cycle path crosses over an imposing 19th century five arched bridge within a shallow valley overlooking the Oberpfalz landscape. Following the demolition of the bridge in 2008, this european path lost a landmark and its' through-connection.
The design workshop sought new proposals and approaches for this missing link.
